About this Presenter

Rob is the principal of Australian Workplace Lawyers based in Brisbane and specialises in workplace relations law. He has over 25 years’ experience in advising and assisting individuals, small and medium business and charitable organisations with their workplace legal issues. Rob has significant experience in the state and federal industrial commissions and federal and state courts and tribunals and has acted in several precedent setting cases in employment, discrimination and environmental law.

Rob is an experienced advisor and litigator having worked with small, medium and large law firms and a community legal centre.  He holds the degrees of LLB (Hons) and LLM (Environmental Resources Law) and is a nationally accredited specialist in workplace relations. Rob is a member of and past chair of the Queensland Law Society’s industrial law committee and a chair of the Society’s specialist accreditation committee for workplace relations. He is a QLS Senior Counsellor and a member of the Caxton Legal Centre’s volunteer hall of fame. In his spare time, he takes his corgis walking and is President of the Ducati Owners Club of Queensland.
