Madeline is a Partner in the Health, Aged Care and Retirement Living team at Thomson Geer.
Madeline acts for aged care providers, retirement living operators and disability service providers, with a particular focus on regulatory compliance, administrative law and dispute resolution.
Madeline provides practical advice to aged care providers on how to manage complex regulatory issues and respond to administrative decisions. She also frequently advises providers about managing critical incident investigations and acts for providers in coronial investigations and inquests.
In the retirement village context, Madeline advises on operational contracts, compliance matters and disputes.
Madeline also assists aged care providers and retirement village operators to manage disputes including complex complaints and resident disputes.
Madeline is an Ambassador for Leading Age Services Australia (LASA) Next Gen. As a member of LASA Next Gen’s Advisory Council and Co-Chair of the LASA Next Gen Events & Communications Committee, Madeline has a leadership role within this engaging network of young aged care leaders and regularly contributes to publications, presentations and events aimed at attracting and retaining emerging leaders in aged care.
Madeline is recognised in Doyle’s Guide as a Leading Health and Aged Care Lawyer (2020 – 2021) in Queensland.
