Leeha James, Principal at James Law, is an Accredited Specialist (Personal Injuries) and a member of the Queensland Law Society Accident Compensation/Torts Law Committee. She was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1998 after completing five year articles of clerkship. Leeha has worked almost exclusively in insurance and compensation law since her legal career commenced. She was principal in a leading Queensland Union law firm for more than a decade and opened her own personal injury and insurance law practice specialising in Queensland and Northern Territory injury and insurance claims in 2014. Over the years she has been involved at a stakeholder level in many of the developments impacting on her practice area. Leeha has a particular interest in work injury claims and a specialty in occupational cancer.
